I am an Experience Designer, bilingual in English and Japanese, with a background in concept/content development, interactive technology, journalism, production, comedy, design, and research & development. My work focuses on designing experiences that bridge the physical and digital worlds. I specialize in developing content, identifying the technology to bring these stories to life and prototyping the interactions.
I have spent my life knee-deep in Themed Entertainment, which despite being short, is a lot! I grew up in Las Vegas, Disney, Celebration (Florida) and my mother’s intensely curated interior home decor, where Themed Entertainment formed the inspiration and foundation behind my design and storytelling endeavors. I approach my work with enthusiasm, ingenuity and tech prowess, creating immersive environments and bringing stories and objects to life using physical computing, projection mapping, technical narratives, wire framing, design, fabrication and rapid prototyping as part of my toolkit. Through my work I seek to educate, entertain and improve the world one laugh and one experience at a time.
